This multi-day class is for anyone that is in private school, public school, or homeschool. The student will develop reading skills to be successful in school and in life. In this class, portions of a book or video will be shared while working on comprehension. The student will identify verbs in the first class. The second class will be about nouns. The third class will be about adjectives. They will each write the words on paper. The students will take turns coming up with other words and sentences. Everyone will read them out loud with the participation of the class. All of these skills will help to build social skills for all of the students. We always have fun while learning what verbs, nouns, and adjectives are. As an ESL teacher, it has continued to be my passion to teach young one's vocabulary and grammar. We will have conversations as a group and each student will be able to participate. I will use slide presentations and send worksheets for practice. Thank you so much. See you in class. Teacher Toni

Hello, my name is Teacher Toni. My classes are very visual. In class, my students enjoy activities and games. Learning independently with guidance and group settings. Which is very effective. Class participation is important but not forced. I am actively a Certified ESL teacher. I have taught hundreds of students. Teaching children is a passion of mine. I've always enjoyed educating children in different settings prior to becoming a certified ESL teacher. Now that I have taken the opportunity to intensely teach children every day, I love it. The light in the student's eyes when they are happy with their accomplishments brings me so much joy. My philosophy of teaching includes allowing the student to be creative. I believe in showing and explaining to the students new content. Afterward, they are able to work independently. Being patient with my students helps them to find the answers to the problem at hand. My philosophy also includes learning by experience. Hands-on classes are very powerful. It allows the student to be more open-minded to the task. My fun comes naturally. It's not always something I plan. I may put on a blue wig for a reaction or sing a random song. You may even see me do a little dance when my student gets the correct answer. When the student does something creative that makes me so excited. My goal is for every student to feel inspired and really good about their achievements. They need to feel comfortable in the classroom and stress-free. I'm also a Master Cosmetologist. I had my own salon for 25 years in the heart of Atlanta, Ga. I've been an Educator for this industry as well. Teaching other hairstylists has been rewarding. As a platform artist, I have traveled around the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. I love meeting new people, traveling, and learning Spanish. Once you look at my classes you will see I am an Art and cooking teacher as well. I also have classes where I take the students on an adventure. Having fun while learning is important to me. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your child very soon.
