This course is designed for Year 5 & 6 learners planning to sit secondary school entrance examinations. It will focus on the Verbal Reasoning part of the exams. Learners will be prepared for a variety of test types, both in terms of knowledge and exam technique. The course will cover the content for both the CEM and GL 11+ tests, as well as entrance exams for independent schools. Learners will consolidate, develop and extend their learning across the key areas of Verbal Reasoning: The Alphabet, Making Words, Word Meanings, Sequences, Logic and Coding. They will be equipped with the Verbal Reasoning skills needed for secondary school entrance exams such as the 11+ Plus.
