Please Note: This FLEX course is a combination of my three Venomous Invertebrate LIVE classes. Learners will learn a variety of information such as behaviour, diet, and fascinating facts about six different animals. In addition, we will learn the difference between poison and venom and what invertebrates are.
I have a Bachelor of Science with a major in Zoology and have worked in the animal field for almost 10 years. I have a strong passion for animals and believe I can make this topic fun and exciting for students who are just as passionate and interested! In addition, I have worked with many of these animals in various facilities.
Homework Offered
Homework assignments, additional fun activities, tasks, and supplemental videos will be posted each week. Online discussions will be prompted and students are responsible for joining in the discussion each week. In addition, there will also be optional fun quizzes to do weekly through Kahoot!0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

In this class, we will be touching on how the venom of different animals affect the body. We will not go into too much detail, but there are some species that have venom that is potent enough to kill humans and we will be discussing this slightly.
