The students will create a Venn Diagram. Using literature, pictures and discussions, they will compare and contrast amphibians and/or insects using pictures or words on the Venn Diagram. Use Code: BERRYNI2020

Beginner Level
The students will be taught step by step how to draw and create their own Venn Diagrams. They will then listen to a story or a poem, look at photos and discuss how the amphibians or insects are the same and different. We will discuss how they compare and contrast. The students will be given time to share what they know about the topic. The Venn Diagrams will be created using pictures, words, or both words and pictures. ~Students will use their listening skills to listen for facts in literature. ~Students will use creative skills to create a Venn diagram. ~Students will use writing skills, with support, to label a Venn diagram. ~Students will use communication skills to interact with other students. ~Students will use language skills to compare and contrast two concepts.
Students will need a white piece of paper, a pencil, and crayons or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
