VAMOS: Spanish Summer Camp with Sra. Kimberly
Spanish Summer Camp offers exciting, engaging activities in Spanish with themes related to places to go in the summer. Students will have to learn Spanish vocabulary by listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Sra. Kimberly will incorporate language and culture through reading, art, music, games, tongue twisters, funny facts, and phrases!

Week 4: July 18-20 Vamos al cine (Let's go to the movies)
Using movie clips from PIXAR's Del Revés {Inside Out}, learners will learn new Spanish vocabulary, review primary colors, and discuss zones of regulation. Each day, learners will practice listening and speaking skills and play a game! No printouts are needed!
Week 5: July 25-27 Vamos al restaraunte (Let's go to the restaraunt)
Week 6: Aug 1-3 Vamos a casa (Let's go home)

Learning Spanish is fun! Join Sra. Kimberly to learn some fun facts, funny phrases, and more! Students will learn a new language and about diverse cultures in this fun and engaging class with activities to get them excited to learn! Continuous enrollment will maximize learning and develop Spanish proficiency through interaction in the target language. Using the target language, Spanish, learners will sing songs, recite poems, and have fun with tongue twisters! Learners will have fun learning with buddies around the world who are curious and eager to learn and practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening in Spanish! Learning Goals
Spanish immersion with Sra. Kimberly provides a time for young learners to listen, develop their attention span, practice oral communication, and learn new vocabulary in Spanish. This course is for native/near native English speakers to learn basic Spanish words, phrases, vocabulary, and culture via emergent reading instruction. This is a Spanish immersion class where the target language will be encouraged with comprehension checks in English.

Supply List
Families will receive notification each Sunday for materials needed for the upcoming week. It is very helpful to have access to a printer and to keep materials together in a folder.
