1-2 hours per week. Homework can range from writing sentences in English, then Spanish, to cooking or presenting a multi-cultural food for class discussion. Student will tell us the name and how it is made in Spanish. You can wear relevant costumes on certain days as detailed in the syllabus.Certificate of Completion
Certificate of Completion will be presented by email at the end of the course. Student must attend at least 80% of the classes and watch any missed recordings to receive the certificate.Class Experience

Beginner Level
Join our beginner Spanish class! Explore family, introductions, hobbies, sports, transportation, clothing, art, music, history, and Latin culture. Master verb conjugation, numbers, dialogue practice, and fairy tales. Discover body parts in Spanish for a comprehensive language journey! I will be adding references to any pictures, music, or historical information that is used in my slides to the end of each of my slide presentations.

Learn subject verb agreement for the verbs gustar and comer. Dialogue about family and food forming full sentences about our enjoyment for food. Learn numbers 1-10 and tell us how many are in your family. 40 mins online live lesson

Hobbies and Sports, Hobbies y deportes
Learn how to tell a friend your hobbies and extracurricular activities in spanish. Learn to conjugate verb gustar. Learn the numbers 11-20. Learn the verbs to like and to go. 40 mins online live lesson

Pets and Farm Animals, Mascotas y Animales
Learn the names of farm animals and how to tell a friend what kind of pets are in your home. Pet show and tell at the end of class. Learn the verbs Cuidar and other verbs related to pet care. My content will never be scary. I try to keep everything family friendly.
Pre-Requisites
Of course life happens, but do try to prevent noisy distractions for this class such as Tv, pets, siblings, etc. We will be dialoguing in Spanish together. Take notes if possible.
Supply List
PC or laptop. Camera and microphone either built in or separate. Child must be present on camera to attend the class. No turned off cameras. Pencil and paper for those who are visual learners and like to take notes.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Fluent and native Spanish speaker. Also fluent in English. I welcome children of both English and Spanish background, and all backgrounds in my class. The goal is to learn to cross the language barrier and be able to communicate our thoughts with others in a new language.Reviews
