This is a once a week violin class for beginning students. Students will learn foundational violin technique and a few beginning songs. Lessons begin with plucking and later progress to using the bow (this is standard practice).
Class experience
This is an 8 week class designed to teach beginning students how to play the violin. Students will learn the parts of the violin, how to properly hold the instrument, the appropriate methods for producing sounds/pitches, notes/fingerings, and how to play beginning level songs. This will be a very noisy adventure! I encourage students to sign-up for private lessons when group class ends. Students are expected to have a sized violin on their very first lesson day.
