In this four time class, the students will practice cutting hearts and will create four different Valentine's Day cards to give away to someone they love or like. They will listen to some fun Valentine poems.

Day 1: Let's cut hearts. Name Heart card Day 2: Love Bug card Day 3: I Love You To Pieces card Day 4: Doggy Love card In this four time class, the students will practice cutting paper hearts. They will follow directions to fold their paper, draw a special shape, and cut carefully on that shape. It would be helpful if your child has a pile of 4X4 squares of paper ready before class so that they can practice cutting several times. These cut hearts will then be used to create four...
~Students will practice carefully using scissors. ~Students will practice using glue. ~Students will learn how to cut out hearts. ~Students will follow directions to learn how to create various paper hearts. ~Students will use creative skills to create Valentine cards. ~Students will use social skills to interact with other students.
Students will need white paper, red and pink or any other colored paper, crayons, markers or colored pencils, scissors, glue. *It would be helpful if your learner also has a stack of paper cut into small (4X4) squares to practice cutting a lot of hearts.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The students may need supervision using scissors and glue.
