Valentine's Day With Your Stuffie Yoga Class
Grab your favorite stuffie and join me in a very special Valentine's Day yoga class! We will practice yoga poses inspired by the stuffies you bring and make Valentine's Day cards for someone you are grateful for. I hope to see you there!

Class Experience
Valentine's Day with Your Stuffie Yoga Class is a special Valentine's Day yoga class for students to connect and share their favorite stuffed animals and practice story telling, sharing the background story of their stuffed animal(s) of choice. They will be encouraged to share using the five W's - Who is your stuffed animal friend? What kind of animal is it? When did you get it? Where did you get it? Why is it special to you? Students will improve their understanding of The Five Ws and build confidence speaking and sharing with their peers Students will develop their attention skills by listening closely to what their classmates share and practice asking meaningful questions Students will practice gratitude by thinking about and sharing someone or something they are grateful for Students will practice relaxation techniques that help them to find a moment of calm
There will be no homework assigned.
Learners are to bring at least 1 stuffed animal to class. Learners should also bring a piece of paper or colored paper, markers or crayons to make their special Valentine's Day card.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will receive feedback from myself through active communication with their parents.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents, kindly be advised that yoga is a physical activity and there are potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open work space and preferably a water bottle). Although yoga is very safe, injuries can occur if not properly supervised. Please be sure that your child is prepared to follow instructions and has an open, hazard free space to practice yoga from.
