Kids can finish creating a card containing workds of kindness, encouragement and love that they are going to send with their gift they created in class.
Materials needed: Modge Podge (Elmer's Glue will also work) Large paint brush at least 1 inch wide or sponge brush to spread the glue/modge podge A variety of tissue paper (Valentines Day colors are great but any are great) Pipe cleaners (1-5 depending on how many flowers they want to make; one per flower) A jars of any size or shape for vase (they are welcome to make more than one if they want and if time alots. If it is a small/baby jar size, a second would definitely be feasible) Construction paper or cardstock for a card that will be started in class Writing utensil/s to make card (pens, markers, colored pencils, etc)
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Kids will be working with a glass jar. Parental supervision as parents deem necessary.
