Welcome to this class! In this class we will be having a Valentine's Day Party! Do you love spending time with friends while hearing a story and sharing things you love? Then you will love this class! Students will enjoy a read aloud of "Pete the Cat: Valentine's Day Is Cool", perform a choreographed Valentine's Day dance, and create a heart craft perfect for a gift! Be sure students have any area to move during our dance. The Dance is simple but they will need a clear area to stomp, turn, wiggle, move up and move down. This class will include: *Welcome and Greeting for each student. *Discuss different Valentine's Day traditions *Read Aloud of: "Pete the Cat: Valentine's Day Is Cool" by James Dean *Dance: Learn a Valentine's Day song and dance *Craft: Create construction paper heart Valentines *Sharing: Each student share what they like about Valentine's Day Materials Needed: Print out, 3 colors of construction paper, glue I cant wait to meet you in class!

The dance is very simple but be sure to have room to move around clear of things that could be tripped over.
