Students will learn words like “amour” (love), “ami” (friend), and phrases such as “Je t’aime” (I love you) and “Tu es mon ami(e)” (You are my friend). They will practice their new vocabulary through engaging role-plays and sing-along activities, helping them confidently express love and friendship in French.

In the final week, students will learn words for Valentine’s treats like “chocolat” (chocolate), “bonbons” (candy), and “gâteau” (cake). Activities include a pretend café role-play where students use their vocabulary to order and share treats.

Each session is packed with engaging activities, including stories, songs, worksheets, and games. Using visual aids, slides, and short video clips, concepts will be introduced and reinforced in an interactive way.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance and support may sometimes be required to supervise young learners. We may need help using various stationary items (i.e., scissors, stapler etc.), or preparing materials before class.
Supply List
A weekly material list will be provided to you prior to the class, in preparation for the following week of classes. Learners are responsible for having the listed materials on hand and printed worksheets ready. If learners are missing a material, alternative suggestions can be provided. Classes will typically require commonly found household items or stationary such as: pencil, eraser, highlighter, scissors, stapler, glue etc.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
