Teacher expertise and credentials
When I was a kid, I hated crochet, and was convinced that I was not creative at all. When I was older, I got very sick for a long time, and I was unable to get out of bed very much. I picked up crochet, and it helped me feel productive and creative even though I couldn't do much else. Now I have been crocheting for many years, and I am very passionate about it. I believe it is a great outlet for creativity. It is very versatile and useful. Through the years I have discovered that you can make much more than granny squares, blankets, and washcloths. I have used it to make everything from rugs and clothes to toys and hobby horses. I believe it is a great life skill that anyone can learn and that it has the potential to enrich every life.
