Join me in this one time class as we play some Valentines Day bingo, make some quick crafts, and have a lot of fun.
Class experience
Who doesn't love a party? In the classic 'class party' we'll celebrate Valentines Day with each other through crafts, games, and music. Kids are encouraged to bring themselves a fun snack to enjoy while we spend time together. We'll make and decorate paper party hats. Then we'll move on to creating some Valentines Day cards or artwork using simple wax resist techniques and water color paints. Students will practice a few different creative techniques in their artwork.
-I will provide you with printable bingo cards for our game. Another option will be to play along on a smart phone or tablet using a link the link I will provide for Bingobaker.com -Kids are responsible for their own bingo markers. (May I suggest small squares of colored paper, or for an extra fun twist small candies such as m&ms or conversation hearts.) -water color paints, and paint brush -a white crayon -white paper for painting our cards (thick craft paper is best but plain printer paper will do just fine.) -additional paper, white or colored construction paper for our hats -clear tape -scissors - art supplies to decorate our hats such as markers, crayons, colored pencils, or even stickers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students may need to use scissors in this class. Safety scissors suitable for cutting construction paper will do just fine.
