Our class will begin with introductions and a welcoming song. Learners will begin drawing an arrangement of flowers in a watering can using a pencil, following a step-by-step process demonstrated via PowerPoint. After the drawing is complete, they will outline their pencil drawing with a black Sharpie marker. Then they will use watercolors to paint their picture. When their projects are complete, they will have the opportunity to share their masterpieces with the class. If learners do not have watercolor paints, they may use markers or crayons. This will be a gentle, low-pressure class with me assuring the learners that all art will be unique and celebrated.
