In this class, students will learn how to use their 5 senses to write a descriptive paragraph. Sentence starters and examples will be provided as well as a graphic organizer to help organize ideas prior to writing the paragraph.

In this class, students will use their 5 senses to describe a topic. We will brainstorm ideas as a class, review how our 5 senses relate to writing and do a sample together. Students will pick a topic ( if they want to do a food item, they can bring that to class to help them), complete the graphic organizer with support and then write a paragraph. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
