Students will learn how to use five graphic organizers to improve reading comprehension -- main idea and details, character traits, cause and effect, summarizing, and story elements.
I am a former classroom Language Arts teacher with vast experience teaching all levels of reading, including ESL and special education.
I will provide PDFs of stories and graphic organizers. Students will also need pencils and highlighters.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I am a certified English Language Arts teacher. My class offerings include literature, book studies, writing, and grammar.
