Bring your markers and crayons and let's draw topics of interest for states of the USA! Using their own imagination, learners will draw topics of interest for states, learn facts about each state along with covering the capitals of the states that we learn about. Week 1 - Maryland and New York + Topics of Interest Week 2 - California and North Carolina + Topics of Interest Week 3 - Michigan and Missouri + Topics of Interest Week 4 - Washington and Arizona + Topics of Interest Additional Weeks TBD by teacher availability and enrollment considerations. Week 5 - Pennsylvania and Florida + Topics of Interest Week 6 - Wyoming and Alaska + Topics of Interest Week 7 - Colorado and Hawaii + Topics of Interest Week 8 - Georgia and Idaho + Topics of Interest Week 9 - Tennessee and Wisconsin Week 10 - Utah and Rhode Island Week 11 - Nebraska and West Virginia Week 12 - New Mexico and Maine Week 13 - Montana and New Jersey Week 14 - Texas and Illinois Week 15 - Indiana and Iowa Week 16 - Virginia and Kentucky Week 17 - Vermont and Arkansas Week 18 - Nevada and Minnesota Week 19 - Louisiana and Oklahoma Week 20 - New Hampshire and Mississippi Week 21 - Alabama and South Carolina Week 22 - North Dakota and South Dakota Week 23 - Kansas and Oregon Week 24 - Connecticut and Ohio Week 25 - Delaware and Massachusetts Learners are encouraged to share their knowledge about states and their interest in facts about the states we cover. Students will be able to creatively use their imagination to draw the topics about the states and share them in class. Learners will get the opportunity to comment on the teacher's drawings as well. Learners may interact with the puppets from class in order to help prompt discussion. Learners are encouraged to draw their own interpretation of the objects we discuss. Learners are encouraged to understand how to "unmute" if called upon in class as occasionally we will have to use the "mute all" function if there is excessive background noise.
