Can’t travel this summer? No problem! Students will go on a great outdoor adventure in the USA. As Little Explorers, students use their imagination to go to space, go on a safari, and snorkel. Before class, students do a scavenger hunt.

Class Experience
Students will develop a basic understanding of the culture of the USA by exploring how one family plays outside in their backyard for summer fun time. Also, students will improve their critical thinking skills by completing the scavenge hunt worksheet before class. Then students will share their worksheet findings in the class, and thereby, work on their social communicative skills.
**Students may draw a picture about how their travels with family. *Complete additional worksheets Pre-class activity 1.) Scavenger hunt to find items from used in space, on a safari and while snorkeling. 2.) Students draw pictures predicting what they will fin on a safari, in space and while snorkeling. 2.) Students will need an adult's help to research states in order to complete.
If requested, student can receive an informal assessment of the final drawing and completed homework.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
1.) Story addresses sibling rivalry and how a student may feel when a new baby arrives in the home/family. 2.) As the author of this original book, I can receive additional benefits through sales of this book on online platforms, such as Amazon and Teachers Pay Teachers. 3.) It is advised that parents stay off-camera for the full class if a young learner is unable to fully focus on the lesson and share items easily. 4.) Students will need an adult's help to research states in order to complete the pre-lesson activity.
