Class Experience
*Please not this is a FLEX course which means there is no live video meetings- instead the students can work at their own pace* In this 6 week course we will spend about 5-10 minutes on each president going over information about their lives, terms, and basic political accomplishments. Each week I will load a short videos about each president. Students will be encouraged create a flashcard on 3x5 note cards for each president with some basic information. Students will become familiarized with the Presidents of the United States: who they are, when they served, and some of their goals and accomplishments.
My minor in college was history. I believe that it is important for children to know our history.
Students will make a notecard for each president in class. There will also be discussions, worksheets and activities available.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need: *3x5 note cards *scissors *glue *pen or pencil *printed photos that will be provided by the teacher There will also be worksheets and activities provided each week for the students to print and do each week.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Google Form
- Youtube
There will be a quiz part way through the class and a final assessment at the end. These will be taken through a google forms link listed in the classroom.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
