Class Experience

This class will be geared toward those who love Presidential trivia. Students should have a knowledge base of presidential history and facts before taking this class as there will be challenging and questions. During this class we will play in a full game of Jeopardy with Double Jeopardy and a Final Jeopardy question to close. This means 61 total questions (Including Final Jeopardy) about Presidential facts and Trivia. Students must have a solid knowledge of Presidential History and Facts or this is not the class for them. Every student will get a chance to answer every question. I will ask the question to the class and give them 15 seconds to write down their answer and then we will show our answers together as a class and discuss and debate the correct answer.

Teacher expertise and credentials
1. I teach classes on Football, Broadcasting, and History.

2. I have a degree in Communications Studies with a double minor in Broadcasting and Business from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Throughout college I hosted a morning radio show and also announced all our school's athletic games on both radio and livestream. For the past 3 years I have been a quarterbacks coach at Piqua Junior High School and previously I played the position throughout high school. I am currently aspiring to get my masters degree in social studies education to become a social studies teacher in the future. I have spent time as a substitute teacher over the last several years and that experience made me realize I love students and interacting with them and helping them mature both academically and as people.

3. My philosophy is to create a culture where learners engage with each other and are constantly asking questions and challenging ideas. No question is a bad question in my eyes and I want learners to feel comfortable asking any question they don't know the answer to.

4. I am a middle child, I have an older sister and a younger brother. I'm a sports and history nerd. I love visiting museums and historical sites and attending football games with friends and family!
