This class is designed to help learners explore different significant points of history through the eyes of different historical fiction characters using the You Choose: History series. Your young historian will be given the opportunity to make decisions that impact their characters lives. As a historian, your learner will be able to compare the different roles throughout history and see the part each type of person played in history. Each week will cover a different period in history...
Learners will explore US History through their own choices as they take on the role of a historical fiction character in different events throughout US History.
Your historian will be encouraged to utilize the resources on a teacher-created padlet to enhance their learning.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This course is meant as a supplement to your history curriculum. It is not meant to be a comprehensive course on it's own.
The You Choose: History series will be the main source for the class. Various articles and videos will be supplied to further your historian's understanding.
