I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a declared minor in Psychology. In addition to my degree, which covers all academic subjects taught at the Elementary level, I have also completed multiple courses on American history and Western Civilization. Additionally, my studies included courses on developmental psychology. As a teacher, I have taught over 200 online classes, including a variety of history courses, which have covered social injustices and war. My focus on psychology and experience teaching such subjects plays an essential role in how this information is presented to ensure accuracy and age appropriateness.

Parents should be advised that sensitive subjects will be addressed as part of this lesson. This includes the topics of war and enslaved people during the early years of the United States government. I do not intend to discuss graphic details on either of these topics, however, they will be discussed in a straightforward manner. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and reflect on these topics.
