Class Experience

In this one-time class, we will learn all about the U.S. currency, what bills and coins are, what they look like, their different values, and we'll complete a money matching activity at the end of class!

Class Summary:
-First, we will first learn that money comes in two different forms, bills and coins. We will also learn that each bill and coin has a different appearance, most have faces on them. We will learn why coins have faces on them.  

-Next, we will learn that bills and coins have...

  1 file available upon enrollment
A 3-page handout will be provided. Students must also bring something to write with, either a pencil or a marker.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

In this class we will discuss the topic of U.S. currency. I will be using Nearpod to create an engaging and interactive presentation for class.
