Class Experience

Welcome to our fun solar system class!

During this 30 minute class, we will complete the following:

Warm-Up Activity and Guidelines (5 Minutes):

Participants will be introduced to each other and complete a solar system themed icebreaker activity. 
We will go over the guidelines for our solar system game and how we will learn about our 10 cool facts. 

10 Fun Facts About Our Solar System Game (20-22 Minutes):

Attendants will play a trivia game. Each of the 10 facts will be posted and...

Students will continue to learn and build:

*Teamwork and positive encouragement
*Word decoding strategies
*Planetary knowledge

I am a certified teacher. I have 15 years of teaching experience. I have been a grade one classroom teacher. I have also tutored grade 1, 2, and 3 students for 13 years. I love science and have taught science classes over the years too. 

Creation, education, and inspiration are key as well as making learning FUN!

There will be no homework with this course however participants will receive a certificate of achievement and a bonus activity after class.

No supplies are needed. Bring your amazing selves. :)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Parents are welcome to attend off-camera (if you wish to). :)
