In this one time class, we will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human heart and basic circulation. Students will be able to visualize their pulse during an in class experiment. A second experiment will demonstrate how our heart pumps blood to the rest of our body. I am an interactive teacher! I love hands-on learning! Pulse experiment - one marshmallow, one toothpick Optional - glass jar, balloon, scissors, two straws, rubberband, water (teacher will do experiment in class - students can replicate at home if they choose)
