Annotation helps students interact with a text, read with purpose, show their thinking on the page, and dive into a deeper understanding of a text. This class is taught in English.
Objective: By the end of class, students will be able to explain annotation and provide an example.
I am a certified teacher with eight years of classroom teaching experience in middle and high school English as well as my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Learners should have paper and pen/pencils available. If learners have access to highlighters or colored pens/pencils, please have those ready as well, but they are not required.
