After an initial one-time meeting with the learner to establish what Montessori work to address, this 6-week listing of meetings will provide weekly support for the learner in the subject areas that were discussed. Montessori math, language arts, practical life, social studies, and/or science are possibilities for study and will be decided on prior to scheduling this set of meetings.

Following in the tradition of Maria Montessori, these tutoring sessions will focus on following the child and pacing the work according to their needs. Practicing Montessori at home can be daunting and our purpose here will be to make the method accessible to those who choose to utilize this unique learning style. 

During our 50 minutes we will review work from the previous session, review the lesson if indicated, and work toward the next step in mastering the concept. At the end of class I will offer suggestions of work that can be practiced between sessions.

It will be helpful to have the appropriate Montessori materials for use during our meetings and I am happy to help you determine which materials to have.
