Upper Elementary Book Study: Lunch Money by Andrew Clements (Book Club)

This 10-week book club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will read and discuss the novel Lunch Money by Andrew Clements. Classes are small to encourage participation and engagement.

This course begins with a getting to know you session and discussion of the author, Andrew Clements. Learners will independently read three to four chapters a week and participate in a literature circle-styled guided discussion during class. They must have a copy of the book in either print or digital format. 

The culminating activity will be a written book review of Lunch Money.

 Introduction and Pre-Reading. We will get to know each other, discuss Andrew Clements, and the expectations of the class. Bring your book! We're also reading Chapter One together.
