In this one time class, students will learn about upcycling and how beneficial sustainable fashion is. Students will repurpose one of their t-shirts and be taught how to turn it into a cool and useful bag that can be used for everyday use.

Students will learn about upcycling and fashion sustainability in a fun way. Students will take one of their t-shirts in their closet or dresser drawer and be taught how to use only a pair of scissors to turn the shirt into a bag that they can use on a regular basis. Students will learn how to decorate it in various ways at the end of class. The t-shirt bag will be created step by step instructions by the teacher. **The class will take place only if there are at least 3 students signed up**

Parental Guidance
Parents, please be nearby since students will be using scissors. Please teach your child proper scissors safety.

Students will need a used t-shirt and a pair of scissors.
