Description
Class Experience
Students will use their knowledge and basic art vocabulary to draw a magnified flower. They will see how proportions and forms changed the simple image through looking at peer work. They will learn how to use warm and cool colors. Students will show how their individual drawing differs from other classmates and will discuss differences and similarities.
Learners will be completing projects individually, but will share their work at the end of class. There is no homework before or after class.
-One piece of white paper, size 8 1/2 x 11" to 18 x 24" -Variety of markers, crayons, colored pencils -Colored card stock or construction paper to use for matting (optional) -Glue stick or photo mounting stickies (optional) -Firm table or surface to work at with a chair
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner will be assessed by informal assessment.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
