Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to use adjectives, powerful verbs and adverbs to improve the quality of sentences. Students will learn to use conjunctions to extend sentences. Students will experiment with changing the word order of sentences. Students will learn to use similes for effect. Students will learn how to be a 'critical friend'; suggesting improvements to other's writing.
I am an English Specialist with 37 years' teaching experience.
All reading materials will be supplied by the teacher before each session. Notebook/paper Pen/pencil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Ongoing, informal assessment will be given throughout the course.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
