Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn about important figures in African American history. Some may still be alive today!
My relevant experience for teaching this topic are that I have taken 3 courses from Grand Valley State university as well as am a part of the culture upon which I am teaching. I am an African American female that has been trained and taught post secondary to teach as well as experience what I am teaching. I have studied this topic for over 25 years. 
There will not be any homework assigned for this course.
Paper of your choice and a writing utensil or color pencils/markers.
There will not be an assessment 
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
