What's included
1 live meeting
40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class, we will work out together...UNO game style! As part of our game, students will pick 4 exercises/movements that will correspond to a color. Exercises may include: jumping jacks, frog jumps, push-ups, high knees, lunges, leg raises, etc. Movements will be demonstrated before we exercise. We will take turns stopping a digital UNO card spinner. The color and number each student gets represents the exercise and repetition we ALL do as a group. Some of the additional fun twists would be getting +2, +4, or the lucky WILD card [student gets to pick ANY of the 4 exercises and a number/repetition (0-9) AND have the option to rest for that turn while the rest of the group works outs >:D muhahaha!]. The session will include a quick warm-up before we begin exercising. The overall learning environment is meant to be positive, fun, and supportive. No previous experience required.
Learning Goals
Students will engage in physical activity and develop exercising skills (motor skills, coordination, balance, endurance, etc.). They will also work on self-confidence, socializing, and team-building.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will need ample open space to exercise, access to water, and proper footwear/clothing. While parental guidance is not required for this class, parents should be advised that injuries can possibly occur during any kind of exercise.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello there and welcome! My name is Ms. Sarah. 🙋🏻♀️
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design. Also, I have 5+ years of experience working with children (ages 3-11) in both academic and recreational settings. I have worked as an Instructional Aide, After School Instructor, Science Camp Teacher, and Sunday School Teacher Assistant.
My biggest goal, as an educator, is to support children/students in their academic, social-emotional, and character development. No matter what the subject/topic at hand, it is my aim to engage learners in fun and meaningful lessons! Through the use of various teaching methods (visuals, games, body movement, discussions, etc.), I hope that students get to enjoy learning during our time together. 🤗
Some of the subjects that you may see me teach include: art, science, technology, life skills, 1st-2nd grade (math and ELA) supplemental lessons, etc. I am looking forward to planning and delivering helpful and interesting lessons for Outschool learners! 🤓😎
Outside of teaching on Outschool, some hobbies/activities I enjoy in my spare time include: gardening, photography, cooking, playing with my cats, etc.
