Week 8- Pop Music and Classical Poetry Week 9- Odes and Pantoums Week 10- Collaborative Poems Week 11- Sonnets Week 12- Robert Frost author study Each week, learners will be given poem templates for the specific poem form they are working on as well as in-depth instruction on the particular poem form. I will be providing feedback on the poems as well! Whether or not learners are familiar with the poem forms above, this is the perfect time for them to delve deeper into their writing, to be creative without fear of judgment, and create meaningful poems! There is no prior knowledge necessary for this course, nor any prior poem-writing experience. I specifically chose poem forms that are easy for students to complete and that are FUN and ENGAGING!
