The class is structured with short, focused lessons that include direct instruction, interactive practice, and review. I will use a multisensory approach, combining visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques to reinforce learning. My teaching style is hands-on and student-centered, focusing on active participation. In this course, Canva Whiteboard and Pear Deck will be used to enhance interactivity, engagement, and personalized learning. Here's how:
Canva Whiteboard:
Interactive Practice: Canva Whiteboard allows us to create dynamic, interactive lessons where students can participate in activities like drawing sound-letter connections, identifying syllables, or practicing word sorting.
Pear Deck:
Real-Time Assessment: Pear Deck will be used for quizzes, polls, and formative assessments. I can instantly see how students are progressing with specific concepts like decoding or syllable identification, which helps me provide immediate feedback.
Interactive Slides: Students will interact with content directly on the slides, such as by choosing the correct answer, drawing a response, or highlighting key text. This keeps students engaged and gives them hands-on practice.
Together, these tools will create a blended, interactive learning environment that allows for immediate feedback, peer collaboration, and customized learning experiences. They will support different learning styles and make lessons more engaging and accessible for all students.
