I will begin with a brief review or mini-lesson using slides to introduce or clarify key concepts, followed by guided practice problems where students can ask questions and explain their thinking. We’ll also regularly work through real or SAT-style practice questions, building both content knowledge and test confidence. My teaching style is clear, encouraging, and responsive. I aim to break down challenging problems into manageable steps, using visuals, real-life examples, and clear explanations. I provide positive reinforcement and plenty of opportunities for learners to interact—whether through answering questions aloud, using the chat, or participating in polls and quick quizzes. There will be time built in during each session for learners to ask questions, review mistakes, and get personalized support. All students are encouraged to participate, but there’s no pressure to speak if they prefer to observe and learn quietly. This class is especially suited for students who benefit from a structured, supportive, and interactive approach to math.
