Welcome witches and wizards! Are you ready to embark on a magical journey? In this book club, we will read the sixth book in the magical Harry Potter series! Whether this is your first time reading the book or you're already a huge fan of the series, this book club will be filled with magic for everyone! Each week, we will engage in fun, thought-provoking discussions, participate in the house cup, and complete fun creative writing activities! You will love this book and the opportunity to discuss it with other young witches and wizards! All reading will be done outside of class, so be sure to come to class prepared. All students will be encouraged to participate in class discussions and complete optional activities for house points. Class schedule: **Students should read chapters 1-4 before the first session Week 1- Welcome! Class discussion norms overview. Discuss chapters 1-4 Week 2- Chapters 5-8 Week 3- Chapters 9-12 Week 4- Chapters 13-16 Week 5- Chapters 17-20 Week 6- Chapters 21-24 Week 7- Chapters 25-27 Week 8- Chapters 28-30, End of book discussion **Learners in this course should already have read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix before joining this class**
