Description

Class Experience

United States geography. Students will have better knowledge of each state, location, and key points of every state.
1. Every Monday I will post the activity sheet in the classroom. Please print before class as we will work on this together. 2. Pencil.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class presents an objective of state facts, information, and history and to help remain accurate, information is gathered by a variety of reliable book sources such as:
Gold Rush A Literacy Exploration Edited by Michael Kowalewski (1997).
The California Gold Rush and The Coming of the Civil War By Leonard L. Richards, University of California 1st Edition (2008).
The Earth Shook The Sky Burned By William Bronson A photographic record of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire
chronicle books San Francisco (2014).

I may post a video based on the state in the classroom and/or during the live instruction. These are useful for further educating on the specific state of the week. The websites are intended and ideal for elementary children and for your information.

No account is required on any of the sources, Youtube channels or websites. All credit is given to the authors and creators. I have been given permission to use their videos.
