* The Basics of the United Nations decision-making system. * Basic principles of diplomacy * Differences between hard and soft power * Differences between democracies and dictatorships * The importance of geo-politics * The importance of economics for foreign relations * The significance of sovereignty in the 21st century and the limits and capacities of the UN in relation to its member states.
I have taught introduction to International Relations at university level, and have over 10 years of experience as a political science instructor.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
