Class Experience
In this class, learners will engage in real world activities as they learn to calculate unit rates. Students will enhance their vocabulary as they learn to define and identify unit rates. They will also use real world activities such as jumping rope, hula hooping, jumping with pogo balls or any other form of equipment to learn how to calculate unit rates. If you have no equipment, no problem! Equipment is optional. Students may still join in by simply using only paper and pencil. ...

I am a certified Math, Literacy, and PE teacher. I have been teaching math and literacy for over 10 years in a public school setting. I incorporate movement in math lessons where applicable.
