Class experience
In this one time life skills class we will discuss three ways students can build their confidence. I will use a student-centered approach during class and encourage student engagement. The students will learn about topics that include the importance of a positive attitude, good friendships and how to appreciate their uniqueness. Students will identify their strengths and positive qualities, share their feelings about themselves, and enjoy sharing with others.
My training in Child Development and School Counseling have prepared me to teach this class. I have been trained on how to teach students self-management and social skills. I understand how to deliver age-appropriate activities and services to students. My previous work experience in education have qualified me to address the developmental needs of all students.
