In this one time life skills class we will discuss three ways students can build their confidence. I will use a student-centered approach during class and encourage student engagement. The students will learn about topics that include the importance of a positive attitude, good friendships and how to appreciate their uniqueness. The class will include an slide presentation to give important tips. Group discussions on each topic will give the students an opportunity to share with others and ask questions. Fun games, arts and crafts and writing will also be incorporated in this class. The class will follow the following format: Welcome and Icebreaker Being You(Self Confidence) Positive Words Good Friendships Class Celebration This class is designed to help empower girls and help them develop to be confident young women!

Students will identify their strengths and positive qualities, share their feelings about themselves, and enjoy sharing with others.Other Details
