Class Experience

The program is a photography-based empowerment program  designed to help youth: 
• Develop their creativity and leadership skills
• Recognize they are of value and help them to value themselves
• Build and enhance their confidence and self-esteem
• Discover the unique gifts and qualities they possess which they can offer to enrich the lives of their families, friends, schools, and communities
• Learn to decode media messages
• Learn to create positive media messages

There are weekly photography assignments

Supplies needed are glue sticks, scissors, and printed photographs from their assignments. 
We send each participant a project kit that includes their assignment book/photo log; and the materials  (book boards, papers, stickers) to complete their vision board and photo journals.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

**Parents Please Note:
*Because this class/workshop thrives on interaction between participants, a minimum of 3 learners is necessary for the class to be held.  To assure personal attention for each learner, the maximum is 6.

*The custom photo journals and materials for the vision boards are shipped to learners after the first class.  We have, for the first time, opened the class to international learners (we had shipping restrictions before)--however please understand there will be a delay in receiving the physical materials. Please contact me with your questions.  Also note:
