In this 25 minute course, students will follow a pattern to fold pages of a book to create book art spelling out "Dad."
Class experience
Each student will receive a printable book art pattern, instruction, and tips to create a unique handmade Father's Day book art gift. The pages of the book will be folded and not cut or measured. In the first class meeting, I will create the same book art pattern with the class and provide guidance and answer any questions, as needed. I've created countless book art designs for sale in as little as 2 hours that have sold as high as $80. I can create logos, such as The Beatles, personalized names, dates and pictures. I've sold them in local stores and people are always amazed by them.
Homework Offered
Each student will finish folding their book prior to the second meeting.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

A printable pattern that I will send prior to class. Please check your Outschool messages regularly. 1 hardcover book from the thrift store with a page count of around 300-400 pages. I personally like The Salvation Army because their books are about 10 cents each. 1 ruler or straight edge.
