Unicorns, Rainbows and Color Exploration in Preschool!
A preschool circle time including a fun science project, art and color exploration. We'll learn the colors of the rainbow, Spanish vocabulary, exciting songs and primary/secondary color recognition.

We will become familiar with all of the colors of the rainbow as well as mixing into primary and secondary colors. We'll sing fun songs and get to know each other as well as our favorite colors and how certain colors make us feel. We will end our weeks with a few art projects and experiments for home. I structure my class with a bit of Spanish in connection to the day of the week, hellos and our theme (color) then I will do a good morning story or song then with our lesson for the day. I ask questions throughout the lesson and try to give everyone a turn if they would like to share how they are connecting or any questions they might have. After our lesson time I will read a fun theme related story or do an art project to have a homework. We end with our Spanish goodbyes and discuss in sequence what we did for our circle time together. We will wrap up our class with one question for everyone to answer about themselves, including me!
Learning Goals
Students will practice important kindergarten readiness listening skills, problem solving, social skills, self regulation, and a love of learning. Secondly they will be familiar with colors to recognize throughout the day as well as new Spanish vocabulary.

We have two projects for this class. 1. Pack of skittles, warm water and a plate. 2. White papers, Red, Blue and Yellow paint and 3 paintbrushes.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
