Hello and welcome to our wonderful Unicorn Jazz Adventure Time Club! Unicorn Jazz Adventure Time Club is for unicorn enthusiasts who want to connect socially and share the joy and love of unicorns, imagination, and creativity. Unicorn Jazz can include fellow mythical and fairytale creatures as well. The teacher and group together choose all activities the week before. We open adventure time meetings with "show and tell" of YOUR unicorn crafts, Puppets, art & drawings, coloring pages and/or toys. Together, we practice creative ideas and fun concepts. We share what we do on our show THE THING I DO. We provide a positive forum to communicate, and be expressive be it journaling, speaking or showing story through your art. Everyone is welcome to join us! Kids of all ages and the young at heart. Teachers, school librarians and parents refer their boys and girls to us. All your unicorn adventure needs is pencils, erasers, coloring pencils and/or crayons. They also need paper. If they need other materials, I’ll let you know in the material section of the page and in the classroom every week. We also do paper puppet crafts, songs, surprises, drawing, pen pal writing, mazes, group projects and read aloud storytelling if the group decides to plan an activity.

Lisa is proud of her Latin roots and culture, having grown up with humble beginnings in El Paso, Texas. She has now made Southern California her home for the past 20 years with her two sons and husband. Traveling and doing book tours is important to reach as many children, educators, parents, and school librarians with positive and meaningful social lessons to promote reading, writing, team building, children’s writer workshops and more.
With a 25-year career in entrepreneurship, public relations, FM/AM radio, podcasting, and writing background, Lisa Caprelli has made writing her life as an entrepreneur while building a great career helping CEOs and leaders to turn their businesses into meaningful brands. Lisa went on a two-and-a-half-year mission researching and interviewing 13 notable entrepreneurs on what makes for a MEANINGFUL, HAPPY, and PROSPEROUS life to be able to give back voices through stories for young readers.
It was through "Skip a Step" that she fulfilled her own life’s purpose to write and create imaginative stories. Besides being a full-time author, she owns a boutique publishing company to help other authors realize their dream of writing and publishing. She is most proud of helping three teenagers who are on the low economic spectrum from El Paso so that they could add “author” to their resume and increase college acceptance.
This best-selling author is proud to be the first generation to graduate from college, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Psychology. Her quest for studying human behavior and teaching is seen in her author visits, school visits, and other countries. She believes in community outreach and volunteering, as seen by her reach and storytelling with children’s hospitals.
Coming from an influence of educators, including early childhood teachers, principals, and librarians, she enjoys keeping up and teaching the latest trends in technology to leverage and collaborate with great leaders to make stories and the love of reading meaningful.
