US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this class learners will be taught about the mythical creature, the unicorn! Children will learn and discuss vocabulary such as ‘mythical’, ‘legendary’ and ‘folklore’. The class will start with a discussion on what the children already know about unicorns and what they like about them. I will then go on to my presentation which is full of information which I have found out about this legendary creature. The next part of the class will be to complete the unicorn themed worksheets, which will need to be printed off prior to class. These activities will include some simple maths, colouring and writing skills. So please bring along coloured pens or crayons to class!

To gain understanding of the beliefs around the mythical creature, the unicorn.
To learn and understand new vocabulary such as ‘mythical’, ‘legendary’ and ‘folklore’.
To practice speaking and listening skills.

Hi! I offer fun preschool activities and other classes for younger children. I incorporate books, music, simple writing skills, counting, cutting and sticking, and other simple arts and crafts. I love to make learning as fun and ‘hands on’ as possible!
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and have been working with children for the last 20 years. I have worked in nurseries, schools, SEN schools, preschools, crèches and within families. Most of my experience has been with 3-5 year olds however I have worked with ages 0-16. I have also written two books on creating children’s activities and have created some work books.
At home I homeschool my own 3 children, and in my spare time I love to go on nature walks, bike rides, create sewing projects, take photos, and I am always learning something new through reading and watching documentaries!
