Unicorn and Fun Crafts for Young Learners
In this one time class we will learn about unicorns. Learners are encouraged to dress up as unicorns and share their favorite unicorn toy or stuff animal. We will make fun crafts, dance, play bingo and storytelling.

In this one-time class children can share their favorite unicorn. We will start with a short dance video on unicorns I will provide link below. We will create two fun unicorn activities, children will be encouraged to share their finish activity, only if they feel comfortable. My class is structured so everyone is given an opportunity to talk and share. Children will take turns naming objects in the bingo game share their thoughts and ask questions? I will teach some fun facts about unicorns, at the end of class I will read a book "How to Catch A Unicorn." My teaching style is simple I build on children’s knowledge and create fun hands-on activities to engage young learners. Every child is welcomed and accepted in my classroom. No prior knowledge is necessary, I look forward to meeting your little learner in my Outshool classroom.

Hello, my name is Anna Contreras, I am a preschool teacher with twenty-five years’ experience. I have experience working with older children six to ten years old as a teacher assistant. I have two degrees, a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and an Associate Degree in Education.
My educational belief is every child has a right to a safe learning environment. As a teacher it is my responsibility to be a positive influence on children's love of learning and to foster their self-esteem. I love working with children, I am animated, silly, and fun which keeps children engaged and interested. In my experience children learn through laughter and silliness.
Teaching tools I use are puppets, music, games, dance, musical instruments, I also use Manycam to display pictures on screen to engage children learning process. Classes I hope to teach on Outschool include early literacy, math and science, arts and crafts, nursery rhymes, music, and dance.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and I have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. I love spending time with my two dogs, Marley, and Bella. I enjoy TikTok and learning new dances with my granddaughters.Reviews
