Class Experience
Why does "roar" mean? What about "chirp"? Hey, wait! Who IS making that sound? It might not always be who you think! In this class, students will learn why certain animals make certain sounds. Students will listen to sounds and view pictures of 3 different animals to see many animals have a wide range of sounds or sounds that are unexpected. Students will gain an understanding of animal communication. Students will be able to describe the animal sounds.
Tell a family member or friend the sound one of the animals make and why they make it! :)
I will always give feedback to students during class and after class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will be screen sharing the slides. The animal sound clips will be played from YouTube videos embedded on my slides. However, only the sound will be played. The video is hidden and will not be seen/watched because the sound is "behind the curtain".
