In this weekly course that does not build on itself, students will come and learn one letter of the alphabet in French every week (please note, for the final six letters of the alphabet, we will be learning 2 letters each week, as the vocabulary is limited for these letters). 

Students can drop in and out of class as needed. Students will sing the alphabet each week, learn the letter and be introduced to words that begin with the letter of the week. Each student will have the opportunity to repeat and learn words that begin with our letter of the week. 

Week of Sept 4: A
Week of Sept. 11: B
Week of Sept. 18: C
Week of Sept. 25: D
Week of Oct. 2: E 

This is a short class that will involve students listening to and repeating words. There will be a PowerPoint, and will involve French and English for young learners.

Repetition for language acquisition is key and will play a large part in this course, both in the form of speaking and singing (don't worry, you don't need to be a professional. It's just for fun!) This is a beginner level French class. Students are not required to have any prior knowledge of French to attend this class.

In order for all students to hear me in class, I employ a strict muting policy. I will unmute students one at a time so they can work with me, and all students will have many opportunities to speak. Young students may need a parent to help them unmute. I go over the muting policy each class as a reminder to students. Additionally, due to Outschool policy, students must identify themselves on camera at least once at the beginning of class.
